Chris first gained an interest in Hot Tubs after buying one himself back in 2002. A former Fast Jet Aeronautical Engineer in the RAF, Chris first set up 1 Stop Spas as a repairs & servicing company in 2008. As the business grew, so did the demand for Hot Tubs and so did his team. In 2014 the company incorporated, became 1 Stop Spas Ltd and opened the first of many hot tub showrooms, now recognised as a multi-award winning group.
Chris is also a senior tutor for the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance (PHTA) and the British & Irish Spa & Hot Tub Association (BISHTA) and delivers Technical Training across the Hot Tub Industry through our sister company – SpaTech Training™.
Chris was selected to sit on the BISHTA Technical Committee in 2017 and is a technical advisor responsible for promoting safe hot tub standards & safety.
In 2021, Chris was selected by the industry to be the subject matter expert to the British Standards Institution (BSI) who are responsible for Standards writing at International, European & National levels.

Melissa joined the business in 2012 and is responsible for the day to day running of the business and customer accounts. Melissa is the face of the business and takes great care of our customers and ensures that customer service and aftercare remains the focus of our award winning business.

John joined us in 2020 as a dedicated Service Technician and was responsible for the undertaking of our customers Annual Servicing requirements and promoting preventative maintenance. John is a BISHTA Certified Water Hygiene Specialist, has passed his CHTT Course & exam and is a Certified Hot Tub Technician. John has a strong background working on modular buildings & holiday parks across the UK and is our go to man for practical solutions. in 2021, John was promoted to Aftercare Team Supervisor.

Charlie joined us in 2021 as a dedicated Hot Tub Technician. Charlie is responsible for the undertaking of our customers repairs and installations and is also one of our lead fitters for Air Source Heat Pumps. Charlie is a BISHTA Certified Water Hygiene Specialist and has now qualified as a Certified Hot Tub Technician. Charlie had a successful career as a Joiner within the Construction Industry and is a keen amateur boxer in his spare time.
Max Batchelor

Max joined us in 2021 working part time as a Showroom Sales Executive but after completing his Business degree at Lincoln University, joined us Full Time as an American Whirlpool & Tuff Spas specialist at both our Sleaford & East Bridgford Showrooms. Max is a passionate Rugby Player & Supporter and is the life and soul of the party. He is sure to make you laugh when you come into the showroom.
Martin Weston

Martin joined us in 2022 with a wealth of technical experience in other sectors . He passed his Certified Hot Tub Technician course early in 2023 and is now gaining experience in fault diagnosis and repairs under the watchful eye of John.
Alfie Belton
Sales Executive
Alfie joined us in 2023, working part time as a Showroom Sales Executive. Alfie is working towards his BISHTA Water Hygiene Certification so he can help and advise on all aspects of water chemistry.
