How we grew
Our Journey: Milestones of Growth & Success
From humble beginnings in Hot Tub repairs to industry leaders and innovators, our journey reflects our commitment to quality, education, and customer experience.
Started the Business
2008Chris Brady, then an Aeronautical Engineer in the RAF, started a Hot Tub repair and servicing business with a focus on technical excellence.
Garden Centre Concession
2009There was a clear demand for spas, so our Hot Tub concession at the Four Seasons Garden Centre in Sleaford, Lincolnshire was launched.
First Showroom Opens
2012–2013Our first dedicated Hot Tub showroom was opened in Billinghay, Lincolnshire marking a major step forward.
A Limited Company
20141 Stop Spas Ltd was formed, strengthening our foundation for the future.
Larger Showroom
2015We quickly outgrew our first showroom, so we relocated to a larger, purpose-built showroom in Billinghay to meet growing demand.
SpaTech Training Launch
August 2016While 1 Stop Spas was flourishing, other Hot Tub companies weren’t, due to the lack of training providers, so we started the UK’s only dedicated training centre for Hot Tub technicians and operators.
Trade Division Launched
January 2017Established 1 Stop Spas Trade to supply innovative products to the UK Hot Tub industry.
Joined BISHTA Committee
November 2017Chris Brady became a technical committee member, helping shape UK Hot Tub standards.
Flagship Showroom Opens
May 2019We opened our Sleaford flagship showroom, now one of the UK’s largest Hot Tub and leisure megastores.
BSI Technical Advisor
November 2021Chris Brady appointed SME and technical advisor to the British Standards Institution (BSI).
Nottinghamshire Showroom
April 2021Opened a second showroom in East Bridgford, Nottinghamshire, expanding our reach.
Community Sponsorship
January 2025Became official club sponsor of Sleaford Rugby Club, supporting our local community.
